The only real counter to Pharah is a hero who can hitscan. Plenty of heroes can instantly do damage when you click the trigger, but it is up to you and your team to shoot well enough to knock Pharah out of the sky. It's not like tearing down a shield as a robotic turret that takes no skill. Without a good sharpshooter, like Ashe or Baptiste, you may end a match with a red face and sweaty hands as Pharah gets Play of the G
Turret-using heroes can be a pain, and Symmetra is the queen of robotic minions doing the hard work. By sending out relatively small robots, they laser the enemy to death. It can take a moment to find them when well-placed, adding to the annoying nature of her main abil
Alright, so this may be the simplest reload on this list, but it definitely qualifies in the stylish category. Not only is the super (double-barrel) shotgun iconic to the Doom series, but the Doom Slayer wields it with brutal feroc
When playing a competitive online game filled with characters with their own sets of powers, you will run into some that are annoying to go up against. Overwatch 2 has a roster of beloved heroes, but some are annoying if they are not on your t
Pharah is the superior flying hero, but Echo can still be annoying to fight. Her Ultimate boosts her up a notch in power and frustration as she can copy a single enemy. While in this form, her Ultimate charges quickly to utilize it as fast as possible. She can turn the tide if she is someone with a powerful Ultimate. To make it more challenging for her foes, once defeated in this form, she reverts to her old self rather than actually dy
The Shadow Warrior series is one of the most ridiculously blood-soaked FPS games on the market. It revels in its absurdity. If you're looking for something ultra-campy and full of action, this is your next
On Nepal Sanctum, there are raised walls on the inner corners of the objective. These walls make perfect snipers perches , letting you drop back or forward for help from your team and giving view of the whole objective. This also reduces your risk of being flanked on high gro
We merely need a critical distance to recognise what this sort of representation actually means for the landscape, how it came about, and where it could go in the years to come. I’m delighted to see Pharah confirmed as a proud lesbian woman, regardless of the context in which it exists.
Not everyone can fly, so those who can have a great advantage. Pharah shoots into the air and then blows her enemies up while also making them shout in anger as they die. Between her weapon and airstrike of an Ultimate, she is one of the deadliest heroes to go up against when someone knows how to control her limited fuel sup
The Blood Dragon DLC for Far Cry 3 is a standalone ode to all things '80s sci-fi action. The story features a gnarly cyborg character named Rex "Power" Colt, who is big on cheesy one-liners and getting down to busin
Another sniping spot that has been famous since the Overwatch 2 PvE guide 1 days. The back high ground of Route 66's final checkpoint provides great range of vision with very little flank routes to watch out for. This position also lets you sit further back, only exposing your head to those below, making you a much smaller targ
Keanu Reeves's portrayal of Johnny Silverhand, a rock star turned corporate terrorist, is the epitome of cool. As such, his moves in combat had to be fitting of the legend. In Cyberpunk 2077 , players have brief moments where they control the fabled character and wield his deadly Malorian Arms 3516 hand can
The weapons are just as wild as you'd expect. One such shotgun, referred to as Major Fletcher, gets its own special reload animation. When in action, the character flips the gun in a complete spin backward and then quickly slams in two shells for a quick but sleek animat
A spin-off game with dual points of view of each Shimada brother would be an emotionally rewarding story and could feature stealth gameplay similar to Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice with elements of Ghost of Tsushima. In addition, the game would likely feature Kiriko, whose mother is a swordmaster who trained both broth
One of the founding members of Overwatch, Ana's skills are well-proven at this point. She's on par with Widowmaker as far as sniping goes, and she's one of the bets Support characters in the game. Just as long as you're asking her to support her team, and not, like, her actual family or whate
Havana's final point is almost entirely open space, which this position takes advantage of. The high ground of the defenders castle wall gives you excellent cover and vision against those on low ground pushing the object
The critics are justified - queer representation in a game as globally recognised as Overwatch 2 shouldn’t become a political scapegoat as its publisher fails to cover up its own corruption. The conspiracy that characters in this game are assigned queer identities out of desperation as opposed to excellent writing and realistic dynamics isn’t that far-fetched. We can’t trust Blizzard enough to believe that it was always the plan to reveal Soldier 76, Tracer, or Pharah as queer, even though it might be true. It doesn’t deserve that trust anymore, but this shouldn’t negate what personal value we assign to characters who are now canon in their identities, especially after years of projecting ourselves onto them with stories and ideas that outgrow what the game is capable of. Feeling pride in Pharah’s reveal as a lesbian is valid, I just wish it wasn’t sullied.
