To a certain extent, Rockstar could use some of the mechanics they've come up with in the past, such as the ones that were showcased in LA Noire, to set up a game that sees us go up against the exact sort of people we played as in the first two games in the franch
Now that the second Red Dead Redemption game has come out, we have had a lot of questions answered, a lot of questions posed, and a lot of characters put in front of us that we would like to see in more video games if we're being totally honest! What we've done is put together some ideas for prequels and sequels that could take place in the Red Dead Redemption , the sort of thing that we want Rockstar to create when they settle down to create something new in the series! We wouldn't be surprised if they do end up using some of these ideas in the futur
Maybe Red Dead Redemption 3 will cover the glory days of the van der Linde gang, because there's a lot of meat still left on this bone. For instance, the childhoods and upbringings of John and Arthur. When John was just 12 years old, he was caught stealing and was sentenced to hang, but Dutch intervened and ushered him into his gang. Similarly, Arthur was picked up by Dutch at a young age, and the two teenagers were raised as brothers under his arrogant and unlawful w
Rockstar games hasn't let people down since it first entered the mainstream with 2001's Grand Theft Auto III , which ignited a revolution within the industry, shattering sales records and becoming as influential to video game design as it was controversial. Since that seminal release, the studio has continued to top themselves with each new project. The company's most recent release, Red Dead Redemption 2 , improved upon Grand Theft Auto V in almost every
During one particular fishing trip, they are ambushed by Agent Milton of the Pinkerton Detective Agency. After a series of light insults, Milton reveals he killed former Van Der Linde gang member Mac Callander, to which Arthur responds with an icy chill saying this quote. It's enough to stop guns from being drawn, but keep the tension at an all-time h
Dan Houser's writing ability improves with each script, so there's no reason to believe Grand Theft Auto VI won't continue this trend. RDR2 really went miles ahead of GTA V with its plot. The western is a serious, somber tale about redemption, while Trevor, Michael, and Franklin's tale is more come
The original songs, written and performed by legends like Willie Nelson and D'Angelo, are catchy enough on their own, but are now unforgettable after being forever linked to the game. GTA VI should recruit more legendary songwriters and performers to lay down new tra
We're not saying that the end of Red Dead Redemption wasn't great on its own, putting the player in control of the main character's son as they take revenge for the death of their father. However, we want to know what happens after this, how Jack Marston manages to live in a US that no longer wants the likes of this sort of cowboy in the world. We think it would be interesting to see what would become of this character, how he would change as he became an adult and what being alone in a cruel Open World Games Beginner Guide does to him. Definitely a sequel worth looking i
Red Dead Redemption 2 , there are a total of 16 Legendary Animals that can be hunted across the vast landscape. Tracking these rarest of the rare is no easy feat, but doing so can provide powerful Trinkets, along with the ability to craft unique garments. This guide will focus on everything needed to successfully track the Legendary Buck, as well as explain what benefits can be acquired from doing
In the ten years that takes place between the prequel and the sequel, we want to see what sort of life the charismatic gang leader was living. Giving us a game where we get to finally play as this man would be interesting, perhaps forcing us to try and survive on our own before creating our own gang, working against a country that no longer wants us th
There's more to detail than inside environments too. If weather had an effect on the city, or parts of it were destructible, it would go along way towards making it feel alive. A Shenmue level of realism isn't expected, but it should strive for something more than what it has done in the p
He calls out each member by name except John, whom he asks "Who are You" and in typical John Marston fashion, he answers with this line. In the face of police finding their camp, and the drama involving his son, he still finds the time to talk a little smack to the Pinkert
While we don't particularly like the character of Williamson, we do think that the past that he constantly references sounds interesting. Perhaps the Rockstar bunch could do a game that sees us take up arms and become part of the infantry, making a push against the Native Americans that are attempting to protect their own land. Maybe we wouldn't actually play as Bill Williamson, but more as a character that regularly does dealings with him. We want to see whether or not he actually did do a lot within the army or whether it's all t
