Switching over to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, this is a big deal. This was the Call of Duty that really changed the industry. It’s the one everyone’s been clamoring for to be remastered. What was it like bringing Modern Warfare back?
Whether we wanted it to or not, Modern Warfare Remastered's position as an add-on rather than a stand-alone experience is but one small symptom of the very business we, as fans, call video games...and others may prefer to call...opportunity. This isn't an attack on Activision or its fans, but rather an affirmed noting that whatever happens come the end of this year -- when the consumer-base has not one, but two [technically] new titles to play -- will ultimately play a critical role in further shaping this "beloved" shooter's fate in the coming years. It's a role Infinite Warfare may not want to have weighing on its shoulders, but truth be told, it's one of the most interesting and heated developments this series has taken for quite some time. The power is indeed, this time, in the consumer's hands.
I've speculated over the past week whether a remaster of previous Call of Duty titles is necessarily a bad thing. But whether Activision's late (it has to be said) jumping on the remaster band-wagon should be regarded as universally "lame", the truth is, I don't see it as something objectively bad. If anything -- and this is coming from someone who's always open to discussing the many, troublesome issues with Call of Duty as a model, let alone as an iteration-by-iteration video game -- I find the idea, notably interesting. For a series that has shifted from World War 2 to modern war and now to future warfare, could this be an early sign of where the series may end up turning in later releases further down the line? Yes you can argue Ghosts tried a return to a contemporary-ish aesthetic to counter the ever-growing futuristic direction Black Ops & Advanced Warfare brought forth.
The map locations in both of the games offer different advantages and disadvantages. However, Fragpunk’s Shard Cards can make the maps more unpredictable. You can pull a card that changes the map's weather or makes the ground icy. The possibilities are endless. This is why it’s harder for you to adjust to a map in Fragpunk and win eas
Fragpunk and Valorant both work on most of the same platforms. Both games are available for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5, making the game easily playable as long as you have a PC or current-gen console. In addition, both games offer crossplay and cross-progression , so you can play with players who own different platforms, and your progress will sync across all platforms you
When Fragpunk was first made available for gamers during the alpha and beta, many wondered whether it was a Valorant clone. Fortunately, the game has a unique gameplay twist that makes it different from all other games of the ge
Call of Duty revealed the patch notes for the new updates, which affect both Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, in a new blog post . Modern Warfare 3 's new patch targets two multiplayer maps, specifically Shipment and Sporeyard, addressing two issues that have been affecting gameplay. An issue causing inconsistent spawns on Shipment has been fixed, as has an exploit that allowed players to access out-of-bounds areas on Sporeyard. While Modern Warfare 3 features a variety of maps , the game's selection of weapons sees the most changes in this latest patch. There have been several changes made to how shotguns work in Modern Warfare 3 , with the KV Broadside (MWII), Lockwood 300 (MWII), Expedite 12 (MWII), Bryson 800 (MWII), and Bryson 890 (MWII) all having their maximum damage range increa
The JAK Lance is an Aftermarket Part for the MX Guardian, one of the many carry-over weapons for Modern Warfare 3 . This nifty attachment converts this fully-automatic Shotgun into more of a long-ranged weapon , reducing its magazine size to three rounds and changing the weapon's ammunition into a bolt projectile. While this Aftermarket Part is far from one of the best weapons in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone , it can be a decent consideration with the best load
For Warzone , running a reliable weapon from the Assault Rifle category can keep players covered when they find themselves in long-range gunfights, or quickly swap to when they are unable to pop off a quick reload. The BP50 is currently one of the best Assault Rifles to use, one which can be kitted out for close range with its Aftermarket Part, or built for medium range. Other great options include the MCW , the Holger 556 , and the STG
Valorant is known for being considerably accessible for gamers who are hard of hearing. The game relies more on visual cues and less on auditory cues. Additionally, the game's minimum requirements are on the lower side, thanks to which more players can play it without facing many FPS game multiplayer Guide drops. While it likely won't give the same experience as consoles or PC, Valorant's upcoming mobile version will make the game much more accessi
