"So I’m still pretty much a League of Legends fiend, and if you aren’t playing URF Mode right now, you’re missing out on life. Aside from LoL , I’ve been going through Torchlight 2 again and checking out all of the mods people have released for that, it’s almost like a whole new game, it’s a ton of fun. I FINALLY finished all of the Borderlands 2 DLC, I wholeheartedly recommend the Tiny Tina Assault on Dragon Keep. I’m now starting on the Presequal, playing a Guardian, and loving it. I’ve also gotten back into a really awesome Dungeons and Dragons group, which has inspired me to dress up like a Tiefling and run around lighting things on fire. But that’s totally normal, right? All joking aside, I’m not sure what I’ll be up to after Janna. Sometimes a project just grabs you by the ankle and drags you kicking and screaming to some new depth of cosplay madness. I anxiously await the journ
Tyrael's Sacrifice is the first of a few tear-jerkers to make our list. Unlike the World of Warcraft opening cinematic, this Diablo 3 cinematic is entirely devoted to established characters in the game's universe. The three-minute cut scene contains lots of flash and action in the heavens, but what makes it great is how well it pulls at the player's heart stri
"The demon hunter was the project that I decided to do after I went to my first major convention and got a good look at what other people were producing. I mained a demon hunter all the way through Diablo 3 , had loved the character and the artwork associated with it. It seemed a natural choice for me at the time. I just kind of sat down one day, looked at my boyfriend, and said "This. This is what I want to do next." So I did it. Rather poorly. It was pretty much glued together and the first time I wore it to Megacon, it hadn’t even been sealed, I just slapped paint on it. It evolved quite a bit between Megacon and Supercon. It now just sits on a mannequin in my room, it’s almost too fragile to wear out anymore. There’s a nostalgic part of me that wants to remake it knowing everything I know now
There’s a reason why the majority of my gaming is done as a single player - I need a pause button. My life rarely goes longer than 15-20 minutes before my dog starts puking or something catches fire and needs my immediate attent
As League champions are remade, and the Summoner's Rift map is completely refurbished, the game is moving away from the cartoon-like aesthetic of its earlier years. The Moba Game Dlc is also becoming more dynamic, as it adds in a wider array of items with kit-changing abilities. But... many of these changes go in the same direction that Dota 2 already had, despite League having a headstart. It's important to remember that Dota 2 ended its open beta in 2013, four years after League did. This makes it all the more shocking that Dota 2 had features like its practice mode long before Leag
It's hard to forget the first time the world familiarized itself with the now iconic pink puffball known as Kirby. Yes, Kirby's Dream Land marked the debut of Nintendo's lovable glutton and his popularity has kept the franchise trekking ever since. Immediately appealing to children the world over thanks to his smile-inducing demeanor, the first iteration of Kirby was a smashing success for Ninte
Optimus Prime is back, Josh Duhamel is back, Megatron is back, and Michael Bay is back. Transformers 5 ( Transformers: The Last Knight ) is aimed to be a continuation of the mega Hasbro movie franchise but also a fresh start for newcomers that will launch - you guessed it - a share cinematic universe Marvel style) with the first spinoff coming in 2018 based on Bumble
The games that turned the market on its head. There was no way that Nintendo could have ever known just how popular Pokemon was going to be, but the company decided to test its luck with a new second-party property. This move eventually spawned a trading card game, an anime and countless piles of mo
One of the most well known entertainment franchises of all time wasn't shy about appearing on the Game Boy countless times during its lifespan. Kicking off Game Boy's launch with Super Mario Land proved to be a fruitful move by Nintendo, but it's the sequel to that launch title that managed to earn a spot on our l
In addition to its lore significance, the trailer is also incredibly intense and well done. It manages to pack story, action, and flash all into one package. Just like all the best Blizzard products
The voice over narration perfectly sets up the conflict that the Horde and Alliance have remained locked in for the last ten years and by focusing on unnamed heroes, rather than icons of the Warcraft world , players are able to imagine themselves as the Orc warrior going berserk or the Dwarf hunter exploring the snowy mountains. Maybe it's just nostalgia taking over, but we're tempted to roll a new character every time the drums of war start beating in this trai
