When players face the Vex in Dares of Enternity , players will kill a named Vex enemy, pick up a cranium, and use it to destroy mini-bosses shields. On the other hand, players facing the Scorn will kill a named enemy, step into debuff, and shoot at crystals until they're destroyed to move on. The only enemy type that has a different encounter in this first round is the Fallen, who will spawn in mines that have to be defused by standing in their area. If players disable all the mines, they'll be rewarded with an additional chest that can award extra Strange Coins and Treasure K
The Hive bosses' mechanics are a bit different. Destiny veterans will recognize the Hive boss from a classic Destiny raid , ' Crota's End .' Crota's boss mechanics are relatively the same: kill a swordbearer, pick up a sword, and bring Crota to a kneel to damage him. The only difference from the Destiny 1 raid here is that Crota can only be damaged with the Swordbearer's sword. After the boss is defeated, a chest with a Treasure Key, a Strange Coin, and activity weapons will spawn in the middle of the ar

And let’s not forget about Charged with Light , arguably the most useful set of armor mods for endgame content. Taking Charge—a mod that grants Charged with Light stacks upon grabbing an Orb of Power—has been a staple for almost every endgame build in Destiny. Protective Light synergizes with Taking Charge to give endgame builds some much-needed survivability. Grenade builds typically use Firepower and this mod to have constant grenade charges. Even Crucible builds use Taking Charge to activate High-Energy Fire, reducing the TTK of most guns. Every build that uses Taking Charge will need yet another mod for this interaction to function. For some players, that’s a big ask.
What’s truly baffling is how these seasons could have been purchased individually, but only when first active. If you wanted to buy Season of the Chosen when it was active, it was only $10. Now? You need to spend $70 if you don’t own Beyond Light, and $30 if you do. When Bungie announced that seasons would be sold à la carte, the community was excited. Getting your friends into destiny 2 Strategy was going to be so much easier since you didn't need to buy three expansions and a year of seasons to let them play with you. Unfortunately, that couldn't have been further from the truth.
There are three different bosses players may fight at the end of each activity; a Hive boss, a Cabal boss, or a Vex boss. Power weapons like Sleeper Simulant that can take advantage of the mods on Destiny 2's Wayfinder Artifact will do the most damage on bosses in his phase. The Cabal and Vex boss mechanics work the same way for their given factions in the previous rounds. Killing enemies will spawn a named enemy, the named enemy will drop something to be thrown or shot at the boss to bring down its shields, and finally, the fireteam will be able to kill the b
The Dares of Eternity resembles fan favorite 6-player activities like The Menagerie from the Season of Opulence or the Sundial from Season of the Dawn. Xur is the go-to NPC, where players can get bounties that can only be completed in the activity. In addition, exclusive emotes, items, universal ornaments, and shaders can be earned through completing various triumphs in the 30th Anniversary triumph tab. Xur's treasure Hoard also houses the Starhorse NPC, which sells players Dare bounties with a high XP payout upon completion, but they can only be bought using 'Strange Coins.' Strange Coins are earned upon completion of the Dares of Eternity activity and earned by killing special mini-bosses within the activity. Players will also earn treasure keys using the same methods for earning Strange Coins; these keys can be used to open the treasure chests at Xur's treasure hoard, which will earn players classic Halo -themed weapons for Destiny
For this Triumph, you'll need 20 Treasure Keys at Xur's Treasure Hoard. You can spend the Treasure Keys on any rewards you like—cosmetics, the Sweaty Confetti mod, or 30th Anniversary weapons . There isn't a quick way of earning Treasure Keys beyond playing a lot of Dares of Eternity . You'll need to regardless if you want to obtain Forerunner's Exotic Catalyst, so don't focus too much on this challenge. By the time you've finished the other Vidmaster challenges, you should have 20 Treasure Keys to red
